The internet is full of World Ventures information, a lot of it is negative and unsubstantiated talk. The truth is, World Ventures is a network marketing company that was created in December of 2005. They sell discount travel, and allow members to become travel re-sellers and earn commissions.

The two products offered by World Ventures are the Dream Trip, and the LTC package. Dream Trip is a membership that allows members to buy the discount vacations. LTC stands for Leisure Travel Consultant.

The LTC package allows people to buy their way into owning a personalized website that also promotes the World Ventures products. These people are called LeisureTravel Consultants, and they can continue to climb the World Ventures ladder, eventually becoming a Booking Travel Agent or a Travel Reservation Specialist. These are terms created by the company however, they do not make people licensed travel agents. They are only allowed to sell vacations through Rovia, the company?s exclusive travel provider.

People are usually exposed to World Ventures information by attending seminars held in restaurant meeting rooms and hotel ballrooms. First they are told about the travel opportunity, then they are told about how to become an LTC and earn extra money. When they sign up to be LTCs, they are told to market their World Ventures website to people they already know, like friends and family.

MLM is looked down on by many people. Many people know someone who is always trying to sell the newest network marketing products and opportunities. So many of these people are enthusiastic for a while, but they soon get discouraged when they can’t sign up people for the programs.

The tragedy is, if only these people learned to market effectively, they wouldn?t be limited to only promoting MLM ventures. They would be able to sell anything to anyone, and they would be able to take advantage of many superior forms of compensation, like affiliate commissions and programs that pay individual commissions directly into a person?s PayPal account.

The ability to market to people effectively is a powerful tool that can be used in all areas of a person?s life, not just online marketing. Knowing how to sell can mean success in face to face sales, and in promoting personal business websites. Marketing knowledge is a tool that a person can put into use every single day, for the rest of their lives.

Even though there is plenty of World Ventures information to be found, joining them to promote their products is a waste of energy. Instead, learn how to market first, then pick and choose from all the products and programs available.
